Surrounded by the idyllic Nockberge mountains, Lake Brennsee is the perfect place for swimming enthusiasts in search of open water and untouched nature. With water temperatures reaching up to 25°C, the lake is also very popular with younger water enthusiasts, who enjoy swimming and splashing around.

Near the water

At our resort, the water’s regenerative properties come in many forms. Soak in any of our six warm water pools filled with energized water, and in Lake Brennsee, the by-far largest bathtub, right at our doorstep – and feel as fresh as our mountain air.

Three lakeside lidos with a total of 10,000 m² of sunbathing lawn space are reserved for the exclusive use of hotel guests. Visitors appreciate both the sunny areas with deckchairs as well as shady spots underneath trees. Children enjoy running around at designated playgrounds and sports fields while couples can retreat to the tranquil natural beach to spend a relaxing time.

Lakeside lido

7.000 m2 of water fun

Our main lakeside lido has everything you need for a great summer’s day. It’s directly connected to the Seewellness area with café and outdoor pools. There are rowing and pedal boats available, a large jetty and a wide lakeshore. Complete with a Bobby Car track and two secure playgrounds for our youngest guests.

Parents appreciate the shady spots underneath trees on the large sunbathing lawn, where they can enjoy the fabulous view over the lake and keep an eye on the action in the children’s pool. From the lakeside lido you can reach the “Seekino” sauna house and the beach arena of Sportschule Krainer.

During the summer months, there is a food truck on-site offering snacks and drinks at lunchtime.

Tasty treats are also available at the Strandcafé and the rooftop terrace with a view to the lake.

Active beach

Fairytale meadow and soccer field

Whether playing badminton or table tennis, giving the new trend sport “slacklining” a try or simply letting off steam: the active beach offers plenty of space for our young guests. While teens challenge each other through volleyball or football matches and the little ones explore their beloved fairytale cartoons, mom and dad can sit back and unwind with a book at the sunbathing lawn.

The active beach is a place with plenty going on: it’s our meeting point for fitness and wellness sessions (yoga, Pilates, Zumba, smoving) and a popular stage for the children’s weekly activity program.

Natural beach

An absolute idyll

The tranquil natural beach is accessible via a short footpath. This area, too, is reserved for our guests, who receive the access code at the reception. Facilities include a beautiful old bathhouse for changing clothes, plenty of space and tranquility for anglers, and even rental boats for fishing.
